Event platform built on heart and connection

Roles: Art direction, product design, visual design & strategy

A brand and product overhaul designed for a world transitioning from in-person to virtual events.

Introduced in 2018, Loxi—a versatile event calendar product embeddable on any website and designed for effortless event sharing—experienced modest market traction initially. However, the pandemic upended the landscape of in-person events, making virtual events essential for event professionals. To meet this pivotal shift, Loxi’s brand and product were reimagined to align with the evolving needs of a changing world.

Loxi's visual language evolved to embrace a more illustrated and dynamic style. The calendar transformed into a symbol and portal, representing an open, safe, and engaging world that in-person events couldn’t offer at the time.

The brand refresh incorporated bold, stark elements, balanced by the vibrancy of Acta Display and a lively color palette, adding warmth and approachability to the overall design.

Elements of the brand refresh were rather stark. Acta Display and the vibrant color palette helped balance this out.

Loxi's user experience was streamlined into a 'LinkTree' for events, simplifying the process. The goal was to make Loxi the all-in-one platform for promoting, selling tickets, and hosting events.

A brand refresh and product overhaul gave Loxi a second act, transforming it into a more relevant and powerful virtual event solution for a world eager to connect and break free from isolation.
